Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Devs-Hive collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It covers devs-hive.com only.

Who we are

Hive Devs Ltd (“Devs-Hive”, “we”, “us”) is a custom software development company registered in Ukraine, and is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@devs-hive.com.

What we collect

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not sell personal data. We collect data in three situations:

  • Contact form. When you submit the form on our contact page or in a page footer, we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you enter.
  • Job applications. When you apply through our careers pages, we receive your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile URL, the position you applied for, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Analytics. When you browse the site, our analytics providers collect usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and how you interact with pages.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
  • To assess your job application. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering an employment relationship.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving our website.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that operate parts of this site on our behalf, and only to the extent they need it:

  • EmailJS — delivers contact and job-application form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd) — website usage measurement.
  • Hotjar — aggregated behaviour analytics used to find usability problems.

These providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA and the UK. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies and similar technologies

We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics and Hotjar set cookies and use similar browser storage to recognise returning visitors and measure sessions. You can block or delete these through your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the site.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and the correspondence that follows are kept for as long as we have an active business relationship, and for up to two years after the last contact. Job applications are kept for up to one year after a hiring decision, unless you ask us to remove them sooner. Analytics data is retained according to each provider’s own retention settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — in particular under the GDPR in the EEA and the UK GDPR — you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@devs-hive.com. We will respond within one month. If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to form submissions is limited to the people at Devs-Hive who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send confidential material through the contact form — ask us for a secure channel instead.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
